Heartache and Joy

So you’re probably wondering why I’m posting with a title like this. Well to start off we’ve had our two fosters (two different cases) for almost two months for 1 and one month for the other and with their cases there’s been definite ups and downs as it is with a lot of kids. Adding to that all the other aspects of fostering, appointments, parents, keeping everyone informed. But overall we’re doing well! We have amazing family and friends around us and we couldn’t do it without them! Our 5 year old starts school this year and she’ll need lots of prayers to help her with the hurdles she’ll have. Our 1 1/2 year old will also need prayers as he’s so young but also thriving. We ask you pray for these littles and their families for the best outcomes for their situations. Our hope is in the Lord as we try to teach and love and care for them the best we can.

Now for our next set of news. We had one scan at 6 and a half weeks and everything looked good with baby. I had sickness and tiredness all the joys that come with pregnancy. We had another scan at 8 and a half weeks and unfortunately that’s where the heartache comes in, there was no heartbeat on our beautiful baby. We are very devastated with this news and are grieving for our loss but also know so many people are following and praying for us that we felt lead to share this news so you all know how to pray. Prayers are so important and that is what keeps our faith strong in the Lord. We need to hold steadfast to Him in these times and we are saddened to have to share this news but also encouraged that this is His plan for us. We have to follow it even through our grief. We have amazing family and friends supporting us and loving us and we have a One True Savior! So please pray for us through this time. Thank you everyone who is following along with us and praying.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. Psalm 34:18
