Move forward through the setbacks

So it has been a while since I posted anything, sorry! Summer got busy a bit. Unfortunately our second transfer didnt implant. So we discussed some options with the doctor. We could take a break, do another medicated ivf cycle, do a natural ivf cycle (didn’t know there was such a thing), or there was some testing we could do but it would involve going through a medicated cycle to do the tests. We didnt want to take a break and our doctor didnt think we had to go the testing route yet. We decided to do a natural ivf cycle. Simple terms it goes off my natural menstrual cycle and we dont have to do the birth control for two weeks or the injections. This method is still being researched to see if it makes a difference for women but they have had success this way too. We moved forward with this but unfortunately we had a setback. At my third monitoring appointment my lining was thickening, which is good, but my estrogen level dropped. They didnt want to continue with a tranfer if the levels were off because it most likely wouldnt work. So i then had to get a menstrual cycle again they gave me medicine to help that along, altough it came at normal time anyway, go figure. But we are now able to move forward again and hopeful that the levels will be how they should. They believe the levels were off because of my body having left over from the injections. My first appointment is wednesday. Then ill have a few after that as they see how things progress. I hope to keep everyone more up to date than i have. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us and keeping us on your hearts and minds.

We also have no new news on the foster/adoption side. We are still hopeful as well that we can enjoy another kiddo in our home and give them the love and care they need! Thanks again for following along!
